This ten day annual festival celebrates the gay and lesbian community of the Hunter.
This year’s gay and lesbian Rainbow Festival builds on the success of last year with a wonderful variety of culture, arts, and community-based events that will entertain and sometimes challenge.
All the highly successful events from last year are included: Short and Curlies short films screening, a youth art exhibition, a community dance, MFIS dinner and a spiritual event. We are also planning a few surprises.
The week will conclude, of course, with our infamous picnic on the Sunday with heaps of entertainment and fun things to do!
